Nationwide Children’s Hospital and the Department of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine seek an outstanding physician leader to direct a dynamic Center for Healthy Weight and Nutrition.
The Center for Healthy Weight and Nutrition offers a comprehensive approach to weight management in children. Our initiatives and programs focus on prevention, advocacy, medical and surgical management of childhood obesity in addition to a strong research component. The Center is staffed with physicians, nurse practitioners, dietitians, behavioral psychologists, athletic trainers, social workers, nursing, and
administrative staff.
Qualifications include board certification in general pediatrics or obesity-related specialty e.g., pediatric endocrinology, and a distinguished record as a clinician with a record of leadership. Previous experience with clinic operations and program development is preferred. The successful candidate must be qualified for appointment as an Associate Professor or Professor on the clinical track or tenure track.
