Each year, our P&F Awardees have the opportunity to present their work at the NORCH Annual P&F Symposium. Thank you to our speakers, sponsors, and dedicated staff who make this annual event a great success for the Center. 

P&F Symposium 2024

The 2024 P&F symposium brought together almost 100 investigators from institutions around the globe to discuss the topic of “Diabetes, Obesity, and Nutrition Networking.” Four previous NORCH P&F awardees presented their work supported by their P&F awards, and were joined by Dr. Jose Florez as Keynote Speaker.

In 2024, our awardees were joined by Dr. Jose Florez, an accomplished physician and researcher who oversees the largest clinical and research department at Mass General. For his Keynote Lecture, Dr. Florez presented “A Vision for Metabolic Research in Boston,” highlighting the innovative spirit cultivated by the NORCH P&F program.

In 2021, our awardees were joined by Dr. Alessio Fasano, accomplished pediatric gastroenterologist and researcher. He is the Chief of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition at MassGeneral Hospital for Children and Director of the NORCH Genomics and Cell Biology Core.
